This Privacy Policy explains how Doqsure collects, uses, and protects nonpublic personal information (NPI) in connection with the Doqsure platform, used by insurance agencies to process Florida homeowners documents.
On behalf of our agency customers, we process: applicant identity information (name, date of birth, contact details, tax identifiers), property information (address, construction, roof, coastal exposure), policy and financial information (coverages, premiums, deductibles, claims), and inspection documents (OIR-B1-1802, 4-point inspections, wind mitigation reports, declarations pages). We do not collect or store payment card data.
We process this information solely to provide the Services: document extraction, quote intake, referral evaluation, proposal generation, e-signature, and lifecycle tracking. We do not sell, rent, or share NPI except to provide the Services or as required by law.
Doqsure maintains a Written Information Security Program consistent with the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 CFR Part 314) and the Florida Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. §501.171). Safeguards include: TLS encryption in transit, PBKDF2 password hashing, role-based access control, per-agency API keys, cross-agency data isolation, input validation, and automated security scanning (CodeQL, Bandit, dependency audit).
NPI is hosted on servers located in the United States. We do not transfer NPI outside the United States without notice to our agency customers.
NPI is retained while the agency relationship is active and deleted within 30 days of account closure, or on agency request. Maximum retention is seven years after last activity. Agencies may delete individual quotes at any time.
In the event of unauthorized access to NPI, we will contain the incident, notify affected agencies within 24 hours, and comply with the Florida Information Protection Act (30-day individual notice; consumer-reporting agency notification at 1,000+ affected Florida residents) and applicable FTC reporting obligations.
